I am Chamila Kapuduwa; vice principal of Athurugiriya Gunasekara Vidyalaya. I am a graduate of the University of Peradeniya. I was a Science teacher before I became a Principal. I worked at Susamayawardana Vidyalaya and Kannangara Vidyalaya in Colombo Educational Zone as a teacher.
I entered Principal Service in 2016, as an assistant principal and was appointed to M.D.H. Jayawardana Vidyalaya. In 2018, I transferred to my present school and was gaining experience as a vice principal ever since.
My vision
'' Children are the center of everything and all decisions we make at school. Schools prepare future leaders and citizens in a country. Children must be well educated and emotionally balanced to face future challenges. It is my goal to provide the proper guidance, an educational environment, and ample learning opportunities by utilizing the abilities of qualified staff, with the active participation of the school community.
